A pretend laptop with a fixed activity menu
Thirty activities covering letters, numbers, logic, and music make this a self-contained toy for children who enjoy prompts and buttons. It should not be mistaken for a real computer or an open app library. The fixed format can be convenient when the family wants electronic play without lending a connected device.
- Best fit
- The laptop shape and a broad menu of short activities fit the child, with fresh AA batteries ready.
- Before buying
- Requires two AA batteries; included batteries are for demonstration, and it is not a real computer. Use the stated age guidance and adjust adult help to the child rather than expecting a particular learning outcome.
Consider these alternatives
LeapFrog 2-in-1 LeapTop Touch →
A child aged two to five wants to imitate computer use.
LeapFrog Prep for Preschool Activity Book →
The family wants physical marker practice alongside an interactive book format.

The trade-off
LeapTop Touch offers a two-in-one toy format. Prep for Preschool combines touch responses with marker pages. Choose Play Smart when the laptop shape and a broad menu of short activities fit the child, with fresh AA batteries ready.
