Privacy

Best Toy Guide does not require an account to browse or use the gift finder. The finder processes choices in your browser and does not ask for a child’s name or contact information.

Saved gifts and comparison

Saved gifts and comparison selections use this browser’s local storage. They do not sync across devices. Remove gifts using their Save or Compare buttons, or clear your browser’s site data. If storage is unavailable, selections last only for the current session.

Shared links and finder choices

A shared gift link includes product identifiers in its address. Anyone with the link can see those products; the link does not contain your name or account information. Submitting the finder stores its choices in the page address, so you can refresh or share those settings. Page addresses may remain in browser history and hosting logs.

Analytics

Best Toy Guide uses Vercel Analytics to measure page visits and broad shopping activity. Custom events include counts, budget bands, interface placement, and public catalog product identifiers for product views, review opens, search-result clicks, and retailer-link clicks. Search activity is grouped into fixed topics such as building or art; unrecognized searches are counted as “other”. We also count searches without matching products. They exclude search text, finder ages, product names, and contact information. We remove query parameters and fragments from analytics page addresses, including saved-list and finder parameters. Retailer links

Shopping links open Amazon or the named retailer. Those services process your visit under their own privacy policies. Best Toy Guide does not collect payment information or see your order. Eligible Amazon links include our affiliate tag.
