A fireboat whose hull extends the story beyond the table
The floating hull gives the completed build a second play setting, while three firefighter figures provide roles for rescue stories. Construction is still part of the gift before the boat goes into action. Small accessories and wet pieces need a careful count and drying routine after supervised water play.
- Best fit
- Building and firefighting stories matter more than getting straight to a simple bath toy.
- Before buying
- Dry the pieces after water play; small accessories need checking before draining a tub. Keep the instructions and a container for spare pieces so future rebuilding remains possible.
Consider these alternatives
LEGO City Police Boat Chase 60456 →
A builder who wants a complete pursuit scene and an adult-supervised water-play option.
Green Toys Ferry Boat with Two Cars →
A child whose vehicle stories need a crossing, not simply another wheeled vehicle.
A closer look at the trade-offs
The trade-off
Police Boat Chase provides two boats for a complete pursuit. Green Toys Ferry supplies a ready-made boat with loading play. Choose the Fire Rescue Boat when building and firefighting stories matter more than getting straight to a simple bath toy.
