Our take

Stamps and stencils give drawing an easier starting point

Eight stencils and three stamps let the child create something before copying freehand demonstrations. The easy-erase board makes trying again straightforward, with animated guidance as another option. The small surface can also become the limitation for a child who wants sweeping pictures or room for several characters at once.

Best fit
Stencils and stamps are useful invitations rather than when large free-form artwork is the goal.
Before buying
Requires two AA batteries; the small drawing area may limit children who like large artwork. Follow the material-specific storage and cleaning directions to keep the remaining supplies usable.
