Read the verdict and alternativesOur take
A floor puzzle with a second way to inspect the picture
The 48-piece space scene ends with a small visual experiment: expose it to light, then see which printed details glow. The glow gradually fades, so it is a repeatable viewing effect rather than built-in illumination. The three-by-two-foot cardboard picture still needs a dry, clear assembly space.
- Best fit
- A child who likes completing a picture and then looking closely at the result.
- Before buying
- Expose it to bright light before checking the glow. Retailer age fields conflict; our pick starts at six.

A closer look at the trade-offs
The trade-off
The solar-system ceiling kit is a room-decoration project; the small Creator shuttle is a construction toy. Choose this puzzle for a child who likes completing a picture and then looking closely at the result.
Living with it & the first play session
After the wrapping comes off
The glow ink needs exposure to bright light first. It is not an illuminated electronic puzzle and the glow gradually fades.
Finish in bright light, then compare which details glow.
