A craft whose finished home is the window
Twelve suncatchers and an acetate sheet offer both painting prepared shapes and making clings. The display purpose gives the finished work a destination rather than another object to store. Drying time, surface protection, and adult help with hanging parts should be included in the plan before promising a same-session display.
- Best fit
- Seeing light through a finished design is more appealing than wearing or carrying the result.
- Before buying
- Paint needs drying time and surface protection; hanging parts and cord need adult help. Follow the material-specific storage and cleaning directions to keep the remaining supplies usable.
Consider these alternatives
Creativity for Kids Glow-in-the-Dark Rock Painting →
A tangible object to decorate, with a protected work area and time between painting and handling.
Creativity for Kids Bubble Gems Backpack Keychains →
Completing two decorated accessories is the right-sized project, rather than expecting enough supplies for a whole group.
A closer look at the trade-offs
The trade-off
Glow Rock Painting supplies solid objects to decorate. Bubble Gems Keychains creates small bag accessories. Choose Window Art when seeing light through a finished design is more appealing than wearing or carrying the result.
