A PS5 film adventure to share with one other player
The nine-film scope supplies familiar settings and characters, while local two-player play makes the journey something a pair can enjoy together. The physical standard edition is the base game, not every character-pack bundle. A disc-capable PS5 and interest in Star Wars are more important buying checks than whether the child owns LEGO bricks.
- Best fit
- A Star Wars household seeking two-player exploration, and check extras separately rather than assuming the standard box includes them.
- Before buying
- Requires a disc-capable PS5. This is the standard base game, not the Deluxe or Galactic bundle. Additional character packs may cost extra. Check the ESRB descriptors, physical format and household account settings.
Consider these alternatives
Sackboy: A Big Adventure — PS5 →
The household wants local platforming together on a disc-capable PS5.
Sonic X Shadow Generations — PS5 →
The recipient enjoys fast route-based play, not when the main aim is simultaneous sibling co-op.
A closer look at the trade-offs
The trade-off
Sackboy offers another shared PS5 adventure without the film theme. Sonic X Shadow Generations is a solo alternative. Choose Skywalker Saga for a Star Wars household seeking two-player exploration, and check extras separately rather than assuming the standard box includes them.
