A ready-made dinosaur family to move around
Three adult-and-baby pairs give this six-figure set an obvious starting story without prescribing a finished scene. Matching the pairs and comparing their shapes can lead naturally into pretend journeys. There are no bricks to assemble, but there is also no supplied landscape; the child provides the setting.
- Best fit
- Children who want two larger dinosaurs for immediate pretend play.
- Before buying
- Six figures only; scenery is not included. Oversized figures take more storage room than miniature animals.
Consider these alternatives
Schleich Tyrannosaurus Rex Figure →
A child who wants a T. rex now, rather than an excavation or building task first.
LEGO Creator Fierce Dinosaur 31379 →
The child likes the making and remaking as much as the creature on the shelf.
A closer look at the trade-offs
The trade-off
A Schleich T. rex makes sense when one favorite dinosaur is enough. The Creator Fierce Dinosaur set adds a construction task before play. These larger paired figures suit children who want the story to begin immediately.
